Sunworks Farm is the home of Ron and Sheila Hamilton is located near Armena, AB. In 1992 we moved from the City to our new farm and immediately started converting our land to certified organic status. In 1995/96 we took a Holistic Management Course which helped us focus on the direction our farm and lives would take. Holistic Management is described as a goal oriented approach to managing land, livestock, people and finances in a manner which is environmentally friendly and economically and socially sound. We have been raising Certified Organic Animals since 1997. In Jan 2014 we were very excited to start construction on our own poultry processing plant and meat cutting facility. This processing facility is located right here on the farm.
We strongly believe in the principals of organic, humane and sustainABle farming. We believe that these principles help not only the environment but also human health. We want to give as many people as possible access to healthy clean food. We continue to learn and do everything we can to better the environment, the health of our animals and the health of our customers and family.
