About the Author
Elizabeth Godkin is a child of the Canadian Prairies. She grew up on a mixed grain and cattle farm by the Village of Arrowwood and married a farmer who lived just around the corner by the Village of Milo. Elizabeth worked in the local school as a teachers’ assistant for years, as well as for the County’s family literacy program. She continues to farm with her husband and son.
About the Illustrator
Heather Leibel is a graduate of the University of Alberta where she studied entomology. She grew up on the prairies and loves bringing her two children and husband to visit her childhood home. They visit with Grandma and Grandpa, cousins, aunts and uncles, the dogs, cat, sheep, cows, and love watching all the prairie animals!
