About Us
Farmstead Market & More opened its door December 1, 2020, right in the heart of the covid pandemic. With markets and such being shut down, local creators needed a place to get their products seen. So we opened our doors with our small space and started with many restrictions. Over the next year or so many expansions happened. With that, adding more retail space and then to adding in the food market. Finally, summer 2022 saw the LONG awaited opening of our Bistro and 2023 we became licensed!
We want to provide our community a place to relax and shop or just enjoy a cup of coffee or lunch.
Summer 2021 we opened our greenspace with an ice cream shack , Mainstreet Scoops. Our space allows the community to enjoy time with friends and family while still enjoying the outdoors. This space became our licensed patio in the summer of 2023.
We started our outdoor Markets summer of 2021, and in 2023 we moved those markets to the whole Mainstreet!! Our outdoor markets allow for more vendors to share their products as well as host live local music and activities. Our BBQ on these nights is run by local non profit groups providing them fundraising opportunities!
Angie & Chris, along with their 2 children, operate a gain & cattle farm just southwest of Kitscoty. Chris grew up on the farm and Angie just down the road in Lloydminster. Angie & Chris share a love for their community and seeing it flourish. They both hold high value in the small town atmosphere and farm community.
After their children entered high school,Angie had the urge to get out and bring a business to the community that would bring many communities together. Doing farmers markets while the kids were young, Angie knew that bringing a space for creators to sell under 1 roof would allow for growth. She took that, with her love and passion for coffee and baking, and put it all together!
Farmstead Market & More became a reality and has continued to grow into what she had envisioned and continues to grow to this day. So stay with us and all our craziness as we continue to grow and expand while bringing new events to our small town!
